Simone Scicluna | Technical Product Owner & Client Technical Specialist, Oxford Languages
Simone has spent several years supporting a diverse range of customers in making the best use of Oxford Languages’ rich lexical data. She now works closely with development teams to ensure customer goals and business vision translate into successful, impactful projects. With academic contributions in linguistics and cognitive science, and hands‑on experience in NLP, EdTech, and language learning, Simone combines technical insight with a deep understanding of language. She is particularly passionate about languages, cultures, and the ways in which technology transforms how we learn and communicate.
Tiffany Wincek | Product Liaison II, OverDrive
With a decade of classroom experience and a master’s in Literacy Education, Tiffany brings valuable instructional insight to her Sora role. As a Product Liaison, she prepares teams for successful product launches and helps bridge the worlds of reading, research, technology, and student learning. She grounds her work in the belief that supporting the next generation of learners is a responsibility we all share. When she’s not immersed in the product world—or a book!—you’ll find Tiffany gardening, baking, or transforming everyday materials into art.
Nilanjana Banerji | Product Manager, Oxford Languages
Nilanjana has over fifteen years’ experience developing lexical datasets and digital language products used in education, assessment, digital literacy, and education technology platforms. Her work bridges lexicography, language research, and product strategy, with a focus on making high‑quality language data accessible and impactful in modern digital and AI‑enabled contexts. With a background in corpus research and a DPhil from the University of Oxford, Nilanjana brings a strong research‑informed perspective to product development. She is particularly interested in how authoritative lexical data can be transformed into scalable, user‑centred digital products that support reading, learning, assessment, and responsible innovation in language technology.
